Third Annual Party in the Park, July 7, 11-5
A benefit for the Tomales Park
The 3rd annual “Party in the Park” will be held on Sunday, July 7, from 11am to 5pm. There will be something for everyone—Live Music, great Food and Beverages, Fun and Games for the kids. Adding to the excitement we will have a Raffle, Silent Auction and Live Auction with Great Prizes. New this year, Tomales Elementary School PTA will be selling Root Beer Floats, Madame Zublatsky will be Telling Fortunes, and TVCSD will add the Used Book Sale. Please deliver any books you would like to donate to Mostly Natives Nursery, during business hours Thurs. thru Sun., or call Karl at 707-878-2767 to arrange pickup. This important fund raiser raises money for Park maintenance and development. Our Administrator has received a 10K matching grant from the Dean Witter Foundation of San Francisco. Every dollar raised will be doubled so we can rebuild the Gazebo and improve irrigation in the Park!
Live Auction, 3pm
Longtime local and miniature enthusiast, Barbara Taddei, has donated her latest creation for the Live Auction! The 3 story Victorian is fully furnished and even has it’s own boat dock. It will be on display the day of the event.
A day at the beach for 20, all play and no work
Also included is a Day at Dillon Beach for 20 people, You, your Family and Friends will be pampered by TVCSD Board Members from 11:30 to 4:30. We can work on a menu together. Last years auction winners choices were Sliders, BBQ Oysters & Grilled Nectarines w/ Vanilla Ice Cream! The venue is donated by Dillon Beach Resort. 3 dates to choose from on Sat. September 14th, 21st or 28th.

A taste of Tomales featuring A lovingly restored historic cottage in the heart of Tomales awaits the 2 of you. During your stay enjoy a picnic lunch provided by Tomales Deli Cafe, Dinner for 2 at Nick’s Cove, a scenic Bay Cruise and more.
12 x 16 framed Oil Painting of Hamlet
Local West Marin artist Kathryn Le Mieux has donated this iconic painting of a cottage at Hamlet on Tomales Bay. The cottage is gone now... but Kathryn’s stunningly beautiful painting will keep the memory of it alive in our minds for many years to come. The Live Auction will be held at 3pm. Auctioneer Sam Dolcini and his local assistant Deborah Parrish will do the honors.
Raffle, Auction, Activities & Books
There will be face painting, games, and other activities for youngsters. These will be provided by the Tomales Presbyterian Church and the TVCSD. The Tomales History Center will be selling raffle tickets for a hand-made quilt. New to this years event will be TVCSD's used book sale and fortune telling by Madame Zublatsky. Others attending are Caricatures by the Judd Brothers who will also have a special Dr. Who game, Valley Ford Birdhouses and KC Creations selling handmade jewelery. Sunglow Hoop Dance will be selling Hulu Hoops and t-shirts as well as giving demonstrations. Giles Arneau is selling hand made wood children's garden furniture. There will be numerous raffle, silent and live auction items.

Food and Beverages
This years lineup includes Hope's Oyster Bar (BBQ oysters), hot dogs, chili and Clover ice cream, the Tomales Elementary School's Hispanic Parents will be serving authentic tamales and fresh salsa, K&A Take Away will provide sausage sandwiches and potato salad, Tomales Elementary School PTA provide root Beer floats, Shoreline Acres Preschool will sell iced tea, lemonade, and water. TVCSD will be selling beer (from Lagunitas Brewery), wine and organic hard apple cider from Tomales' own Apple Garden Farm. Bloomfield Farms will be selling organic produce.
The day's music includes Wagon (11-12), the Gary Foster Band(12:30-1:30, Chick Petersen and the "Hard to Kill Club" (1:30-2:30), Mike and Cathie Duet (2:30-3) and the Hillwilliams (3:30-5).
