The Village of Tomales
Tomales Village Community Services District (TVCSD) is a government agency dedicated to operating and maintaining the local waste water treatment system for the village of Tomales, California. The district also maintains and operates our local community park.
The Village of Tomales is located in the northwest corner of Marin County, California. Founded in 1850, the village has a steady population of about 200. Within it's boundaries are two churches, two schools, the school district headquarters, and numerous small businesses. The town is surrounded by agricultural lands, much of it protected from development by Marin Agricultural Land Trust. The land is mainly used for the raising of livestock.

TOMALES VILLAGE COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Interested persons are hereby notified that there will be one vacancy on the Tomales Village Community Services District Board of Directors on June 15, 2015 and ending December 2015.
Pursuant to California Government Code Section 1780 (c) and (d), the TVCSD Board will appoint a qualified individual to this office. The individual appointed must be a registered voter residing in the district on June 15, 2015.

The Tomales Village Community Services District (TVCSD) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional firms or individuals licensed in the State of California to provide services and operations for the sewer system and Tomales Community Park for a period of 3 to 5 years with mandatory annual reviews. • Board of Directors Meeting, Wednesday, August 12, 2015
The August General Meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, 7PM, at the Tomales Town Hall. The packet and agenda will be posted the week prior to the meeting.
• Finance Advisory Committee Meeting, Monday, July 20, 2015, 6:30pm
The Finance committee meetings have been moved back to the Tomales Town Hall. Everyone is welcome.
• Park Advisory Committee Meeting, Monday August 24, 2015, 6:30pm
The next Park Advisory Committee meeting will be Monday, August 24, 2015 @ 6:30pm at the Tomales Presbyterian Fellowship Hall. There will not be a meeting in July. All are welcome.
There are three seats on the TVCSD Board of Directors up for election this year. Two 4 year terms, seats currently held by Patty Oku and Sue Sims, and one 2 year seat which is currently vacant. The filing period is from July 13 to August 7, 2015.
To be eligable one has to live and vote within the TVCSD area boundries. Filing documents can be obtained at the Marin County Registrar of Voters’ office at the
Civic Center in San Rafael after July 13, 2015. Eligible candidates interested in running
for any of the open seats must file the required documents, submit a statement of
qualifications (if desired) and pay any costs mandated by the County prior to August 7,
