The Tomales Community Park Gazebo Replacement Project is Complete

On June 30, 2020, Tomales Village Community Services District (TVCSD) conducted a final inspection of this project with Marin County Building Permit Division. The Contractor for this project was DMR Builders from Santa Rosa. After the contract was awarded in late March, COVID-19 protocols required that the District and its Contractor cease work after securing the project site. Once work was allowed to resume, the project proceeded towards its successful completion before the building permit expired in late June. The work was to have included construction of four handicap ramps to play areas, but that work was eliminated from the project scope by mutual consent of the District and the Contractor.

Project Description:  Work consisted of constructing a 23’6” diameter Gazebo in the same general footprint of a prior gazebo .  The prior gazebo was built in 1979 and was demolished and removed in late 2019 due to its deteriorated condition .
